I had to take my mom to the doctor today. I sat in the hot car listening to talk radio and taking pictures with my phone. One such is of my eye, which as amusing but also to show you what color my eyes are.
Usually personal ramblings of an anxiety-ridden guy. Witicisms from Arthelius the Ghost, sometimes.

Amusement
This most recent thing about the drama with my cousins has provoked my odd sense of humor. Fuck them if they don't want to talk to me any more.
I say Really, think what?
People I don't know in person, they would be amongst them are like flat characters in a story. Background. None of them even bothered to call or text me during the last 15 years of unemployment and that hell time that was my time at wm.
I did not always have anxiety disorder. It developed in that hell time.
Things that provoke it, I can avoid. But what does it matter, really?
In the grand scheme of things, this all will be forgotten one day. Just as people who lived during the early 1900s are being forgotten.
I may fear my elder life but really, what is the sense in worrying about it? I will age, can't stop it. Entropy is the way of things.
I will be amused and say really, think what?
Because what you think.... does it really matter?
Arthelius the Ghost and Marraka have returned from M83 with some cool pictures but the radiation there melted their camera. See, if they thought, what? They would have brought one that is shielded from that. Typical.

Ha ha, Dia-Icky
Maybe it is funny. Not at the time for it feels like your guts are liquefying and cleaning up is like ick.
I had it again. Could be that I drank a Dr. Pepper, which is like a laxative in soda form. Many years ago, an IHOP waitress told me and my friend Ed that Dr. Pepper is like prune juice. I don't know, I never had prune juice to my knowledge.
I am in the white part of my laundry cycle. I hope I don't have another bout of dia-icky. Wouldn't want to stain my white C-IN2 briefs.
If soda is so bad for you, why is it so readily available? I will stick to Sierra Mist and an occasional Pepsi.
Can't drink Coke, something in it really irritates my prostate. I drink one, I will hurt.
Dia-icky hurts like that.
Still, it can be funny, squishy funny.
How often do you have dia-icky? It's not funny, but really, it is if you take a light-hearted look at it.

Dia-Icky Again
Am I going to write about every time I have dia-icky? Why not? It doesn't happen very often, usually when I eat or drink or eat something that causes it.
What was it this time? Too much sugar, of course. When I have to make my own tea (I prefer to buy the gallon jug of sweet tea already made) I put one cup of sugar in one gallon of tea.
Okay, this is typical. But I use ice to 'water down' this and have more water than tea. This is a good thing. This makes it less sugary.
When you drink it without ice, as we didn't have any until a bit ago, this can cause what happened to me.
Icky, icky. You know from previous posts I don't like to poo. Dia-icky hurts in a different way.
Boom! Icky....
I cleaned up like usual, Dial and everything. Washing my nether area too much will dry it out and that is not a good thing.
I will ease up on the sugar.
This is a post about a bodily function. Dia-icky happens to everyone some time or other.
Might as well find something amusing about it.

It's Funny
It's funny that a post about Genetically Modified Foods gets the most looks of a single post in the over 5 year history of my blog.
I read Scientific American, have since I was a kid. I have a subscription to it. I listen to what it says.
That is not to say that I blindly have faith in scientists, anything is just a human guess most of the time.
I don't understand why people are afraid. Organic food? Really? It costs more and it is NOT any better for you than processed food. I would rather eat processed foods that have been checked by QA and have standards to follow.
Why do you care?
I have submitted a blood sample to a diabetic screening clinic. If I have Type 2 Diabetes, which is uncertain because I don't meet all of the criteria for it, I will have to change my diet. It does not mean I will become vegetarian nor does it mean I will give up the sweetness I value.
I will know this coming 18th.
If you think that modern food is bad, what of what our ancestors ate? I am of Northern European descent and they had some horrible things in their diet.
I won't eat wild game. Say, in this area, the hunting of white-tailed deer is big. This yields venison which is popular. I don't like it. I don't want any.
Watch PETA videos of what happens to chickens in 'factory' farms. It is sad. It makes you sick, knowing living creatures are subjected to all of those awful things before a not always clean death.
It's almost enough to make one give up eating chicken, almost.
I won't. Those chickens are not natural galliform avians. They have been selectively bred for generations to make a creature that cannot exist in nature. Having larger than normal breast flesh, weak legs, etc...
I do feel bad for them but I can't do anything about it and why give up something that I like?
Why is it so interesting when I write about food?
I'd rather write about how lonely I am, or why the weather is colder than normal, but no. I am just provoked by this interest in something you or I can do nothing about.
