I haven't been posting because I haven't felt like it. There is a disconnect between my mind and expression likely caused by the new medicine I take for my anxiety disorder. That is pretty much when this started.
I take my medicine overnight so I don't have the dizzy feeling it causes when it is strongest.
I was not able to sleep since the death of my father but I can with the medicine.
I will get back into the flow of things. I haven't forgotten this blog.
I feel better but the absence is indelible on my soul. I will always miss my dad.
It has been cold and this is getting old. This isnt the place for cold. I will talk about the weather later, my fingers are too cold for much more typing.

Blah
It is true that I have not been feeling well. My scratch is healing but it still hurts.
What is worse, the weather. CNN said this time of the year is the average coldest for the whole USA. Boy, am I feeling it. It is 38 degrees F (that's 3 degrees C!) as I write this.
It is just the worst time of the year. The cold hurts, can't enjoy life because of dry skin and aches all over.
The cold damages the water pipes, harms our dogs and causes accidents, if it's icy.
Good things about the cold, perfect stillness, no mosquitoes or ants, longer nights.
I have been enjoying the longer nights. I don't like sunlight, you can see from my skin tone, I don't go out into the sun. I'll burn if I do, it's that fast.
I can feel the burn on my bare skin. That is a subject for a summer post so I'll hold off on UV radiation and my skin for now.
I hope to feel better. My hip doesn't hurt so much. I have always been stronger than that but this scratch... some how it had caused blah feelings. I could post another picture of it but do you want to see it?
I apologize if the booty pictures bother you. It is not my intention to bother anyone.

Painful Scratch
A water pipe burst under the house. I had to crawl through the floor to fix this cheap fucking pvc pipe. Part of the floor collapsed and I fell through it. The water is turned off so the pvc glue can set, hard to do when its 33 outside.
I am so dirty. I took off my soiled clothes.
But when I fell through the floor, I hurt my hip and got a severe laceration to my booty.
I am posting a picture of it so don't get excited. Everyone has a booty.
I am cold, my shoes are wet and I can't clean up. I'm so upset.

18 Degrees
It is my bedtime, yes, I sleep in the daytime roughly corresponding with the hours of a school day. This has to do with light, really, I won't go into why I won't sleep in a dark room.
It is 18 degrees F outside. That's -8 C and it feels it. I am so cold, not so badly because I am right by the heater but if I have to pee, something I do with great frequency, that bathroom is so cold.
My allergies are making me feel miserable. I am badly allergic to what is known as mountain juniper here, by far the most common tree in this area.
They pollinate when it is subfreezing and it's going strong right now.
I have lots of blankets for this reason. My body does NOT like cold. My feet especially. They get so cold, I wonder if they have stopped working but I can walk and stand fine. My toes tingle though.
Not so long ago, it was 80 outside. A strong appealing temperature.
I am wearing the best sweatshirt I ever bought, a Wilson one I got 15 years ago. It is heavy and warm and that is what is needed here. I color matched it, lol, same color as my gray heather sweat pants.
It is going to stay cold for the foreseeable future. A miserable time.

Cold Again.
As I write this, it is -5 Celsius outside. People in normally cold areas might say that's nothing but this isn't a normally cold area.
I can remember when I was a kid in the 80s when it was way colder than this. Haven't really seen that kind of cold since.
I have early memories of icicles off the front porch overhang. Seeing the town weather channel displaying a -9 F temperature. Snow, though it has snowed here several times since then.
It isn't unusual to see warm temperatures in the winter time. I can remember Februaries where it was 90 outside.
I wish it was now. I am not exactly comfortable when it is hot, not that 90 is hot by this area's standards, but hot weather doesn't hurt. My poor feet....
It was perihelion several hours ago. Closest to the Sun. The problem is, the Earth is tilted about 24 degrees. The part of it facing away from the Sun is our northern hemisphere's part. Winter just got going a few weeks ago.
It is a long time to March and April. Typically a time of storms here. You know how I feel about storms if you read this blog regularly.
This cold will persist for some time but it won't be this freaking cold very often.
I am a night owl, always have been. My 'day' is the coldest part of the night. I do sleep better when it is cold but that is not a reason to like it.
There hasn't been any ice...yet. There is talk of a possibility later in the week.
Until the floodgates of the arctic close, this will not be a pleasant week.
Waiting for 80s again. That is great, mid-80s. A comfortable temperature.

Was Offline
On December 23rd, I was playing Spore and my computer suddenly crashed. My Verizon Pantech UML 290 modem stopped working and still doesn't work.
I had to wait until my benefit came until I could go to the VZ store to take advantage of an upgrade. I have a powerful new Ellipsis thing now. It is better, I think, since it isn't directly connected to the computer.
I have been freezing. It is cold. I only have a small heater.
I am back online and it was an awful 2 weeks offline.

Effects of the Cold
How does cold affect me?
Understand that I wear sweat pants most of the time. Jeans, especially grind on my male pain. A thin fleece fabric layer doesn't really insulate when it is 31 and the wind is blowing from the north.
I don't know if legs are responsible for the chill I feel. I mean, yes, my male parts retract like any guy's would but that isn't going to make the entire body feel cold.
My hands and feet get numb. It is difficult to type this. It is 40 outside but consider 40ish is what it is in your refrigerator if it is working properly.
I have mentioned a while ago that the floor is damaged in here. Lets the cold through like a ghostly specter, not the good kind.
The heater keeps it at bay but takes a while to warm the whole room and gets up to 73. *scoff
I feel most comfortable when it is in the 80s.
I have been having joint pains in my fingers, shoulders, ankles and knees. The most troublesome hip pain I get sometimes has been calm but I reckon if I got up and did stuff instead of sitting on my bony tail-end, they would hurt, too.
It isn't a pain like old people get. It is a light dusting of pain that doesn't hurt constantly. It just hurts weakly then fades with movement or readjusting.
I did not feel this so much when it was warm. I hope it gets warm again soon but look at the time of year this is. Last January, that water pipe fiasco happened. It was 17 outside at night.
It has not been cold like that and God willing, it won't be. This is Tx, not some northern state used to such weather. We are not.

Cold, but....
This cold, I hate it. My hands are frozen, it seems. I hold them in front of the heater and dry my skin out. It is Tuesday. That means I shave. I did and was careful. I have a few blemishes but it will heal.
I always look better the next day. I smile because over my life, it has been ingrained to smile when your picture is taken. Even my un-cute DL picture.
I got some shaving cream on my glasses. I think I got it all. I can't see without them.
Before all this, I washed my face with Cetaphil. That helps when skin is dry enough to flake off, a problem I had when I worked at wm.
Cetaphil costs a lot of money so I will conserve it until I can get some more.
I use Dove Sensitive on my face during the winter time. Make fun if you must but unless you are cursed with dry skin, you wouldn't know what helps.

That fucking tropical storm, I forgot to look for a picture of it. I think it was called 'Nuri' or something like it.
It distorted the jet stream and let loose the bitter cold of the polar airmass flow down into the middle of North America weeks too early.
We were not spared. Where it was 80 yesterday, it is 48 as I write this in the afternoon.
That is the thing about tropical storms, they affect everything.
Hurricane Season ends at the end of the month. It is still likely, well, if environment is conducive for it.
I will be cold for a while. I have turned on my heater for the first time since last April.
I have to shave later, smh. Can't let it go on too long, becomes hard to shave it. I will man up and do it.

Cold Reminder
If you have read my blog for a while, you know how I hate cold weather. It hurts and numbs.
A cold front swept through this area where it was 98 yesterday, and dropped the temperature dramatically. It is 57 F as I write this, wind chill of 52 F.
I am adapted to hot weather, as it has been toasty hot so even a relatively mild temperature like 57 feels cold. I am not shivering nor are my feet numb so it is not truly cold.
Cold will be back. It is seasonal starting in this area typically late in October. I remember years where hot weather persisted until November. I do not believe this will be one of those years.
I don't appreciate this reminder of cold. I am tempted to turn on my heater but that is ridiculous.
I start to feel cold when the temperature drops below 75. I can get a chill even at 80.
If this upcoming cold season is as bad as the last one, I might invest in a spacesuit so I don't have to freeze.
Assuming I don't harm myself before then, of course.

Awful Shave
I was getting too hoary which makes me look older than I am. I cannot do anything about the graying of my facial hair. It has been going on for years now.
Since I got my hair cut yesterday, it only makes sense I should shave on a day when it is not so freaking cold. I mean 52 is cold to me when I am standing in my CK underwear with water all over me.
I did not do such a good job on the neck area because I was trying to hurry. I was so cold.
My skin will recover from this over the next few days. Why don't I post a picture then? No one asked.

I am freezing my tail off. Only yesterday (Saturday as I sleep in the daytime) it was 72 F.
What is causing this? I feel bad for people up north having to deal with colder temperatures but the fact is, they are used to it. We native Texans are not.
I hate cold weather. My feet are frozen, I cannot feel my toes. I stay by the heater, drying out my skin. It is not good.
I talked about the turning off the water heater thing before. I cannot wash like normal. I no longer have dia-icky but I do need to clean up.
I feel miserable. I pee often because I have a fast liquid metabolism. Going into that cold bathroom, it is no fin, and exposing the most sensitive appendage I have to the cold. Cold.
I suppose in the very distant future, as the Universe expands into oblivion. Cold will be the only thing. Just cold everywhere.
But that is a long time from now, no humans will be around to read this. If, indeed, if the web is eternal.

Cold Persists
It has been colder than it has been. I mean, it is so cold, the dog's water dish outside freezes solid. What is going on? This is most unwelcome. I hate it so.
Staying by the heater is drying out my skin and hair. I use Dove Sensitive to wash my face and it shouldn't dry like that. It is too cold really to take a shower but feeling clean is a powerful motivator to suck it up and do it.
I have gone to the store. I had anxiety moments, a girl startled me, I have anxiety driving. I made a mix cd and put some good things on there to help ease driving. No trance except for Uplifting Trance. 'Home' by Chakra remains my favorite.
What is it like where you are? It is not -4 C like it is here, I hope. This cold won't last forever. The normal climate keeps trying to re-establish itself if none of these arctic cold fronts encroach on the south.

Cold Again
It was all right for a few days. Didn't even need to turn on the heater and put on my Hanes Premium sweatshirts. I mean, it would get worse in the next to days and I would have to put on my sweater.
But as this Weather Channel (despite its awful excuse for a tv channel booted from Directv) graphic shows why it is unseasonably frigid in Tx.
The jet stream, which you can see by the wind paths all but spills Arctic air down into the continental US. I mean, sure, it will get down to 19 or so tomorrow night but that's mild compared to the northern states.
I get cold so easy. I am a warm weather creature. We can laugh about this when it is June and 105 outside.

Underwear 5
I have mentioned that I have been trying different kinds of underwear to find the right pair. I am trying all things. There are some I do not like, the ones that make my peena protrude, others that are see through.
I found a pair that I literally cannot feel. My genitals are secure, no real protruding. I like compression.
I have fought with myself about posting an underwear picture. I decided to do it.
You can't see anything or else I wouldn't post it.
Sadly, these briefs are not meant for male wear. Male underwear should be like this, not like the ones like Cocksox and others.

Brutal Cold
As I write this, it is 19 degrees F outside. That's -7 C to those who use the Celsius scale.
I have a heater so I am not bitching about being cold. Only my feet are. When I go to sleep and under my several blankets, they eventually warm up.
I have to forgo my shower today as a pipe has burst under the house. The water is shut off. This will become an issue if it is not fixed today.

Getting Better at Shaving
I had a hard time shaving this week. It was cold. I was in my Me Undies black underwear. I don't want to get my clothes wet, that's misery.
As again, I used Aveeno everything. I have a shaving cream bowl and a brush but even the brush was cold.

Rather Cold
Well, here it is, more bitching about the cold.
Tell me, what is wrong with this?
I mean, the 'normal' is over 15 degrees warmer than this for this date.
This is a snap of my WeatherBug, which I have used for years and keep a close eye on often.
The cold keeps the ice that fell frozen on the ground, slippery, dangerous. It has all but paralyzed North Texas. It's not that bad here, it is just fucking cold.
Cold hurts. My feet go numb, my prostate seems to lock up, making it hard to pee. Although that could be caused by the stress caused by this unnatural chill.
I am agoraphobic, I don't go outside unless I have to and that often isn't for more than a few moments. I can go to the store but only to familiar places.
I stay by the heater and dry my skin out. Err, itchy. And all parts of me get dry. I am not ashamed to use Dove soap. I use the sensitive kind as I am allergic to some soaps, particularly laundry detergents (Tide, especially)
I have warm clothes to wear. It is okay. Maintaining water drip here to protect the water pipes. I went to take my bath last night and the hot water was frozen up.
Standing naked in the tub, shivering in a cold bathroom, it was not fun. The water did flow after a few moments, after all, it is hot. It seems to get hotter when it is cold. I don't know what is up with that.
The last time it was this cold, I worked in the wm garden center. Going out to help process a Christmas tree, to which I am seriously allergic. Although, that was in the high 30s, not this low 20s bs. That is -4 C, you know.
It should warm enough tomorrow to melt this accursed ice and maybe no one will slip and bust their tail. That hurts, I know.
Hopefully this winter malaise is a fluke and the jet stream will shift and deflect it from the south. You ever notice, few weather people show the jet stream anymore. How do you think storms and fronts progress across the continent?
I would have been a weatherman had I not have the inability to do math. That has affected me a lot of times. It's sad.
If the ice is there in the morning, I will take a picture of it and post it here. I hope it is not.

Imminent Cold Hell
It's coming. Well, it's 75 F outside at the moment, fine day tomorrow and then the bottom falls out. You can bet your sweet tail I am getting a heater when I go to the store later.
